It wasn't a typical day at Amy's Hallmark in Ala Moana Center, Hawaii, when Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist, Tracy Larsen, walked into the store!
Hallmark Hawaii's Ala Moana Store Manager, Jeannie Higa, with Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist, Tracy Larsen
Store Manager, Jeannie Higa, was excited to be able to meet and briefly chat with Tracy who totally looks like he could be a hapa haole guy from Hawaii, right? Tracy was not only kind enough to autograph a 2018 Dream Book at Jeannie's request, but also made time to pose for this cute photo (above) with Jeannie. How awesome is that?! We hope Tracy's visit to Hawaii will be a memorable one filled with lots of aloha.

It's fun to note that Tracy signed a page of the 2018 Dream Book that features some of the ornaments he designed for this year including the Luminous Lighthouse Musical Table Decoration shown in this video:

Even though members our our club weren't able to meet Tracy Larsen in person, our local club ohana will be thrilled to know that Jeannie wants the signed 2018 Dream Book to be used as a special prize for a lucky member of the Hawaii Keepsake Collectors Club! Chee hee! A big mahalo to Tracy Larsen and to Jeannie Higa for this awesome prize!

Woohoo! On April 19, 2018 Hallmark's 2018 Dream Book and Wish List will go live online at (earlier than planned) to ensure that dedicated fans have access to the Dream Book before the first few days of May when Keepsake Ornaments can start being ordered!

April showers bring May flowers! And what better way to celebrate the month of April than by giving away five Hallmark April Showers Fairy ornaments! Laura Conradson, one of our club's most generous givers and tireless volunteers, donated all five ornaments for our club to use as prizes. Mahalo nui, Laura, for this extremely generous and super-awesome prize donation!

Heads Up!  Hallmark's 2018 KOC online and phone enrollment date is being delayed and will open on April 16, 2018 at 9 a.m. Central Time (4 a.m. Hawaii time), instead of on April 2 as was planned. Because of this delay, the start date for being able to purchase products from the KOC Product Shop has been pushed back to April 16, 2018 as well.

You can fill out the 2018 KOC membership application and mail it in before April 16th, or enroll in-store starting April 2, but processing will not occur until after the April 16 date.  And also keep in mind that -- at least for now -- the $5 off offer for ordering one or more ornaments from the Product Shop at the same time that your renew or enroll only applies to online enrollment.
Members who apply online or by phone can expect their Dream Boxes to begin arriving 5 – 7 business days after their applications  are processed, so these members are expected to receive their Dream Boxes & Dream Books by the end of April. Hallmark cautioned, however, that in-store and mail in enrollments might take a bit longer to process and ship.

Hallmark will be extending the date for KOC Product Shop Bonus Points through May 20, 2018 to allow KOC members plenty of time to take advantage of 250 Crown Rewards Bonus Points for each Product Shop item purchased after joining.

Last week the Hawaii Keepsake Collectors Club received our very first ornament donation of 2018!  A big mahalo to Victor C. from Pedricktown, New Jersey, for the gorgeous Crescent Kringle ornament shown below!  This beautiful ornament, along with other ornaments our members will be donating this year, will be used to grace the branches of Christmas trees we'll be providing to Hawaii families who are in need of a little Christmas magic this year.  Mahalo nui, Victor, for being a blessing to Hawaii families from all the way across the Continental U.S. and the Pacific Ocean!

UPDATED: Something new this year! 2018 KOC members will be able to purchase KOC exclusive ornaments in Hallmark’s new KOC Product Shop. Because 2018 KOC enrollment is being delayed until April 16, 2018, the opening of the first product shop will be delayed until April 16, 2018, as well.  The second product shop opens on July 15, 2018 at Keepsake Ornament Premiere.  Here are the KOC Product Shop offerings that will be available on April 16, 2018:
From the info we have so far, it looks like members will not be able to walk into their stores to purchase and go home with ornaments from the KOC Product Shop. Instead, Product Shop ornaments will be displayed in stores and members will have to order Product Shop ornaments which will then be shipped to their homes or stores. We'll share any additional info that we receive on this subject as it becomes available. In the meantime, here are the KOC Product Shop offerings that will become available on July 15, 2018:

Hawaii Keepsake Collectors Club members aren't just Santa's Helpers. Nope. Because they're also a lot like angels! The generosity of our members proves once again that the hallmark (no pun intended) of our club really is our spirit of aloha! Our members not only fulfilled every wish on the wish lists of both of the families we "adopted" this year, but we went above and beyond with lots of extra gifts as well!
Some of the Santa's helpers angels of the Hawaii Keepsake Collectors

From brand new bicycles, clothing and toys galore to gift cards for groceries, restaurants and stores -- our members joined together as one ohana to wonderfully bless our two adopted families.  Members also donated Hallmark Keepsake ornaments, gift cards for fresh Christmas trees, LED Christmas lights, tree stands, tree toppers, shatterproof balls and ornament hooks to make sure both families would be able to experience the joy of decorating their own Christmas trees this year!

Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments Donated by Hawaii Keepsake Collectors Club Members and Hallmark Hawaii Ready to Be Wrapped for Our Two Families

Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments Ready for Delivery

At our Santa's Helpers Breakfast Potluck at Amy's Hallmark Ala Moana, members came laden with sweet and savory breakfast dishes, gifts and Christmas decor for the families and lots of Christmas cheer. Volunteers manned the check-in stand and the buffet and wrapped & packed up all of the gifts to ready them for delivery.

Oodles of Gifts! Our Members Fulfilled Every Wish on Both of Our Families Wish Lists!

After all the wrapping and packing was done and all our tummy's were full,  it was time for reindeer games and prizes!  The "Build a Snowman" game got lots of laughs! Check out the photos below. Which team do you think won?

Afterwards, for a grand finale, everyone gathered together to sing a festive rendition of the Twelve Days of Christmas.   (Video of our singing is not posted as it could theoretically make our club a lot of money if we believed in blackmail, lol!).  Many hugs and goodbye's later, two of our Santa's elves set off to deliver all of our gifts and decorations to Helping Hands Hawaii.
Mahalo to the Santa's elves who delivered all of our Christmas gifts & decorations

All of our Christmas gifts and decorations were delivered to Helping Hands Hawaii safe & sound before the morning was done!

A job well done, everyone!  We've really done Santa proud.  And so, as Tiny Tim said, "A Merry Christmas to us all; God bless us, every one!"
